Board Defense is a low toxic, borate based wood preservative that kills wood decay fungus. It is recommended for use in vulnerable, low lying areas where water is prevalent or rises up from below, especially near masonry or sloping areas that might retain water. This is best applied after the wood is prepared, and before epoxy is applied.
